Coach Morgan Leads NSU Into Season Opener vs. Towson

Merrill “M.L.” Morgan is the official named baseball coach for Norfolk State University (NSU); making the sixth coach in the history of NSU’s baseball program. Morgan was hired on June 25, 2025, ensuring spartan success and diligence on the diamond. His leadership is expected to have an immediate impact as NSU prepares for the upcoming season. 

The Spartans are set to open their 2026 season in just three days with a non‑conference matchup against Towson University, marking the beginning of the Morgan era on the diamond.
