NORFOLK, Va. — Running a food-based business can be challenging, but local entrepreneurs don’t have to navigate the journey alone. The City of Norfolk is now accepting applications for its Bon Appétit Food Business Training Cohort, an eight-week program designed to support and strengthen small food businesses across the city.
The cohort provides participants with expert-led training, access to valuable business resources, and a supportive network of fellow entrepreneurs. Upon completion of the program, eligible participants will also have the opportunity to apply for a $7,500 incentive grant to reinvest in their businesses.
Applications are currently open for the next cohort, which is scheduled to begin in March 2026. Interested business owners are encouraged to apply now at norfolk.gov/FoodBusiness.
