Lester Holt to step down as anchor of ‘NBC Nightly News’

Lester Holt announced that he will step down as the anchor of NBC Nightly News this summer, a role he has held since 2015. However, Holt confirmed he will continue to anchor NBC’s Dateline, a program he has been leading since 2011.
