Congress Proclaims November as National Hip Hop History Month

Hip-hop’s lasting influence on American culture will be recognized for years to come. November is officially Hip-Hop History Month. In 2023 congress unanimously passed a resolution designating August 11 Hip-Hop Appreciation Day, the month of August as Hip-Hop Recognition Month, and November as Hip Hop History Month.
