Helping Norfolk Youth Be Successful, One Step at a Time!

The 2022 Next Step To Success Summer Camp will be June 27-August 19, from 8:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Daily activities focus on promoting each youth’s social, emotional, and educational development with a strong focus on building their skills in the areas of resilience, grit, growth mindset, teamwork, leadership, written and oral communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Having fun, discovering new hobbies, and making new friends are top priorities in our summer camp. We want youth to have a great time during their summer break in a safe and nurturing environment that supports their overall development. Youth will have numerous opportunities to participate in a wide variety of on-site and offsite programming including cooking classes, STEM, visual arts, wooden boat making, modern dance, photography, gardening, sports, as well as weekly field trips to colleges, cultural institutions, and other sites of interest.

NSTS provides free transportation for campers, as well as a light breakfast, lunch and snack daily.
