Radio. The power of radio motivates me. I love to help listeners; be it speaking to a non-profit offering valuable services, interviewing organizations that may provide shelter and resources, to simply warning listeners about a traffic jam. My work in radio has caused both laughter and tears to listener and host alike. The media allows me to contribute positively to this world.
Through radio, I have been trained to get people to think, sometimes outside of their box. My experience ranges from calling sporting events to hosting town hall meetings, to interviewing the well-known as well as the down-and-out. I absolutely believe that everyone has a story to tell.
I graduated from Norfolk State University with a degree in Mass Communications. NSU is my foundation and my very first lab. Over the years, my learning has continued and often includes “flying by the seat of my pants!” I love it!
Radio is my strength and my passion!
