NSU Important Updates

This is an update to members of the Norfolk State University (NSU) community:
Our highest priority is the safety and health of our NSU Community. NSU is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and its impact in the Commonwealth. The 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 has been activated and the Emergency Operations Committee continues to ensure that the campus is prepared. We are addressing the need for social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among other actions. Due to recent developments, NSU is taking the following actions:
𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬: 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫.
𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆. The Office of Housing and Residence Life will allow students to return to campus to retrieve all of their personal items and belongings. We recommend that students come to campus for a brief time to collect their items. Students should sign up for a retrieval time beginning Monday, March 16 and ending on Sunday, March 22. The Office of Housing and Residence Life will be sending additional information to students regarding sign-up times.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: Information regarding Spring 2020 commencement exercises will be sent out no later than Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
